Havoc Lacrosse is Here!

Content

Havoc Lacrosse Club was created by player/coach/parents from all corners of Denver to provide an expert approach to lacrosse development for youth and high school boys and girls in Colorado. Our experience with the various local options for travel club lacrosse led us to create an alternative focusing on real value for players and parents regarding quality coaching, ideal team size, and affordability. We love developing multi-sport athletes. We are dedicated to spreading the love of the game, while delivering an equal dose of competitiveness and technical mastery.

Chris Krause:
Chris was born and raised in Mt. Clemens, Michigan and was introduced to lacrosse through his brothers at the age of 9. Chris was a three time, 1st team All State player in high school. He went on to play at Farmingdale Jr. college on Long Island where he was awarded MVP honers in 1991. Chris transferred to NCAA Division I Michigan State University and was a two year stater to finish out his college career. Chris has been coaching at the youth level (boys and girls) for the past 9 years and is currently coaching with the South Jeffco Coyotes. He also serves as a Coyote board member. In the off season, you will find Chris and his 3 kids snowboarding, watching football, hanging out with friends and living life to the fullest.

Chris Macheca: Chris began his lacrosse carrier at New Trier High School in Winnetka, Il,  Chris was a 4 year starter and Captain at Division II Regis University as a Midfielder.  Since 1997 Chris has been extremely active in local club lacrosse while also coaching 6 years at Heritage High School.  He also has 2 daughters currently playing with various club programs in the Denver area.

Andrew Noyes: Andrew grew up in Syracuse, NY where he ski raced, and played soccer and lacrosse at Fayetteville-Manlius HS. After HS he went on to play lacrosse at Washington College (MD). He currently is the Assistant Coach for the University of Colorado Boulder men’s lacrosse team, sits on the board of Rocky Mountain Storm Lacrosse, and continues to coach both girls and boys youth lacrosse teams.  When not coaching or playing lacrosse, you can try and find him fishing, skiing, and hiking in the backcountry with his 3 kids and wife, Cassie.

Ken White:
Ken grew up in Colorado and got his first lacrosse stick at 8 years old for the sole purpose of throwing snowballs and has been loving the sport ever since.   After high school he played at San Diego State where he was a 4-year starter,  3-time MVP and 3 year captain.  He then moved on to be assistant and head coach for SDSU for 9 years.  Since returning to Colorado Ken has coached high school and youth lacrosse for the past 23 years.  His goals in coaching lacrosse are simple, teach the love of the game and hopefully when your sons or daughters are 50 years old, they’ll still be loving and contributing to the game.

Karl Wimer: Karl grew up in Jersey, but played high school lacrosse in Colorado, winning a State Championship with Cherry Creek, where he was All-America and the first winner of the Doc Stabler Award. Karl was All-America at Yale University then spent a year coaching and developing lacrosse in England, before helping develop field lacrosse in the Czech Republic, coaching the national team in their first World Championship. Karl was involved in the early development of the CityLax lacrosse Club in Denver and has coached thousands of kids at every age and club level and in his camps. He currently coaches at Denver South High School. When not developing multi-sport athletes into lacrosse players, Karl enjoys the Colorado outdoors, drawing sports cartoons, and cheering on his son.
